9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACUMEN RISK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ACUMEN RISK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Acumen Risk, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. We are ISO 27001:2022 certified and committed to protecting your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

13. Modifications to Terms
